Client Update 0.8.12

Time for another Update! Or maybe a few of them, since we did not post any news here for the last couple of updates. Find all of the patch notes since our last newspost about version 0.8.08 below.

Here is how you can update:

  • If you use the Launcher, then the game will update automatically (and if it does not, restart the Launcher. Does not help? Maybe your Antivirus is stopping the download - try the manual download)
  • If you do the whole thing yourself, head over to the "Download Client"-page, and download the newest Version (v 0.8.12).

  • FIXED: Second active Orb could only be used at Level 10
  • FIXED: It was possible to get stuck in certain items, like signs
  • FIXED: Player did not correctly fall down on items
  • FIXED: It was possible to go out-of-bounds in the Overworld
  • Orb and Gear loadout are now preserved when moving from dungeon to overworld (Orbs that cannot be used during Verification will be de-equipped)
  • FIXED: Orb slots where incorrectly colored during certain points
  • FIXED: Equipment mix-up after reentering throne room after a journey
  • FIXED: Leaving a dungeon via ingame menu is now treated correctly (and won't grant XP any longer)
  • FIXED: Lighting was wrong for some heightened tiles
  • FIXED: Sounds - usually from Wizard-created projectiles - would continue playing after death
  • HUD-changes: Keys, gold and global conditions are no longer shown in the Overworld
  • FIXED: Finishing a dungeon did not replenish health
  • FIXED: A "fall-to-death" was triggered too early
  • FIXED: When hitting "Reset Room" with the right timing during the fall-animation, the player would respawn in a tiny size
  • FIXED: It was possible to walk onto certain NPCs
  • FIXED: Sometimes, wrong Gear was equipped after using Gearfield and changing the Orb Loadout ingame
  • FIXED: Added a few more sanity checks for safety reasons
  • FIXED: A few potential, but not yet reported, crashes
  • FIXED: It was possible to "miss" a levelup if it occured when leaving a dungeon from the ingame menu
  • Added more automatically sent reports
  • Added more logging functionality for investigating rare crash bugs
  • FIXED: Player would respawn in an incorrect position after falling
  • FIXED: Enemies would be placed on the center of a tile when changing heights, resulting in unnatural movement
  • FIXED: Some passive Orbs increased player health past their Endurance-value
  • FIXED: Leaving a dungeon from the ingame menu would cause a logout
  • Added more tiles
  • Some small issues that could cause subsequent crashes were fixed
  • Several small changes and fixes
